Those of you that know me know I love food (probably more than I should), so I thought I would share some of the amazing and interesting food we got to eat on our trip. In addition to all the restaurants and street food, we took a really great cooking class in Chiang Mai where we got to tour a market and try all sorts of weird and tasty things. Later in the day we made curry, pad thai, and tom yum soup ... and it was delicious.
Happy Halloween! Unfortunately I'm suffering from a fairly persistent cold, so instead of partying down in my twister girl outfit, I am spending the evening curled up on the couch with the cat and a bag of candy-corn. However, in the spirit of the holiday I figured it couldn't hurt to share a few snapshots of the Halloween party from work last Friday. Let me tell ya, Googleween is no ordinary work fiesta. We had funnel cakes, spooky cookies, silly costumes, and a surprise performance by the band Cake! All in all, it was a pretty fabulous day at work.
Last Friday evening I attended the most fabulous picnic I have ever been to: Le Dîner à San Francisco. It was a pop-up picnic held at a secret location (revealed just a few hours before the event) with 2500 strangers all dressed in their best white duds. Think underground dinner meets flash mob, but a little classier. We drank, we dined, we danced... and then we left without a trace.
I found these photos hiding in the giant pile of pics I took a couple weeks ago during fashion week. I had a few really delicious meals while I was in New York, and I took these photos to remember them by. I'm no food photographer by any means, but thought I would share them anyways. Enjoy!
