Those of you that know me know I love food (probably more than I should), so I thought I would share some of the amazing and interesting food we got to eat on our trip. In addition to all the restaurants and street food, we took a really great cooking class in Chiang Mai where we got to tour a market and try all sorts of weird and tasty things. Later in the day we made curry, pad thai, and tom yum soup ... and it was delicious.
Bali was amazing to say the least... I wasn't entirely sure what to expect beyond beaches and palm trees, but it is definitely on my list of places to return (and not just because I have family living there). The people were so friendly, the sights were amazing, the food was delicious, and the art was spectacular.
Here are a few highlights from my recent trip to Thailand. We took over 2000 photos (I got a little carried away) so it was quite a challenge to pick out a few to share. This post is a little elephant heavy but they were just too damn cute and it was such an awesome day so I decided to keep them in. I'll share the highlights from Bali tomorrow and I have another collection of all the delicious food we ate as well... Enjoy!
These photos were taken a few weeks ago when I was in Bali at an amazing temple called Tanah Lot. I've been so busy since I got back that it seems like forever ago, but it was actually just a couple weeks ago... I'm still wishing I could hit repeat! I've finally had a chance to go through all the photos so I'll share more over the next week.
I've had this dress for years and I totally love the exaggerated shape of it, but I don't wear it all that often because it is not the easiest thing to sit in... or walk around the city in for that matter. Even so, sometimes I just commit to taking baby steps all day and sitting carefully so I can wear this crazy printed pouf dress. Alright, enough about dresses... let's talk about who won last week's Breil watch giveaway!
Happy Friday! This has been an exceptionally long week for me, so I am pretty excited for the weekend. I snapped these photos this afternoon during a quick break at work. Maybe we were just tired and ready for happy hour, but Meghan and I could not stop laughing at the guy standing near us hocking some serious loogies the whole time we were outside. Not sure what point he was trying to get across with all that phlegm, but his machismo was noted.
